Your responsibilities

As a cemetery worker, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the parish's cemeteries and green areas. Your tasks may include:

• Lawn mowing, trimming, and weeding.
• Tombstone care, planting, and maintenance of flower beds.
• Leaf removal.
• Opening of urn graves.
• Cleaning in staff areas and operational facilities.
• Daily maintenance of gardening equipment.

The work takes place outdoors in all weather conditions and involves varied and practical tasks alongside friendly colleagues. We are looking for someone with good teamwork skills and the ability to plan and execute work independently.

Qualifications (requirements)

• Driver's license B and access to a car.
• Interest and experience in cemetery work or green area maintenance.
• Experience with gardening equipment.
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written form.
• Good physical condition.

Håbo parish

Håbo parish geographically corresponds to Håbo municipality. Here, 22,700 people live, of which 12,800 are members of the Church of Sweden. The parish is located in a picturesque Mälar landscape, rich in cultural heritage, with over 230 kilometers of lake borders and includes five medieval churches as well as the modern Magdalenakyrkan in the central town of Bålsta.
